It is not recommended that breakables are posted. Bonsai via couriers also end up damaged or out of their containers.
We do not ordinarily do deliveries, so please feel free to come and visit us.
Tools are made from different grades of steel. Some of the steel is softer than others, and consequently get blunt a lot faster. These are also the cheap tools. If you only have a handful of trees, then the cheap tool will suffice. However if you need tools for hard woods, it is advisable to buy tools with carbon steel or manganese composite blades.
Bonsai are trees in a pot, miniaturised and worked upon to create an artistic impression of trees or scenes that we see in nature. Our trees are grown for local conditions and many of our trees are indigenous as well as endemic to our area.
Pots can be made of many materials, such as cement, mica, plastic, rock, but the best and most ethetic are clay. Clay pots are either glazed, to give a variety of colours or Unglazed, to give more natural earth clours. Bonsai pots have feet, whereas flower pots do not.

We are a Bonsai Nursery, based in Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa. We import pots, tools and accessories directly, enabling us to give the lowest prices. We grow and style our own trees, species suitable to the High Veld environmental conditions. We supply and consult to bonsai clubs and growers, corporates, nurseries, weddings, promotional gift companies and individuals. Orders from 1 to 200 can be accommodated.
